Social planning committee–Chairperson oversees a committee responsible for planning social events such as FIU athletic event watch parties, happy hours, athletic migrations, chapter picnics, and other social/athletically oriented events designed to acquaint members with one another, the University, and the Alumni Association.
Service planning committee–Chairperson oversees a committee responsible for planning service/academically-oriented activities and programs. These may include a scholarship program, student recruitment activities, career networking activities, community service projects, and other activities and events designed to provide service to the University and the community-at-large.
Membership committee–Chairperson oversees a committee responsible for recruiting alumni and friends to become active participants in chapter programs and events. Committee also promotes membership in the Alumni Association.
Communications and Marketing committee–Chairperson oversees a committee responsible for promoting all chapter events and activities. This may include editing a chapter newsletter, providing information to the Alumni Association for a chapter mailer, and maintaining a chapter Web site.
Mentorship committee–Chairperson oversees a committee responsible for providing student retention assistance and leadership development. Chairperson will work alongside Office of Admissions, Orientation and other pertinent Student Affairs departments.
