Hello Golden Panthers,

I am honored to serve one of the greatest chapters in the Alumni Association! FIU is a diverse institution, where ‘black’ comes in all different shades & countries. This chapter is a home for us to come together and build a solid foundation for future Panthers. Pulling together our exemplary talents, strength, and varied experiences there is nothing that can stop us as FIU Panthers. So no matter if you come from the field plains of Kansas or the beach-front islands of  St. Kitts–there is a place for you here!

This year the chapter will focus on community outreach and development, bringing various organizations and councils within the South Florida area together to provide better career and networking opportunities, as well as interactive and stimulating social/cultural events for all types.  Furthermore,  we are here to support the fellow Panther.  Whether you want information about graduate programs and education funding or a start-up business that needs assistance in marketing and want to showcase your business, the Black Alumni chapter will be your first stop shop to meet varied of needs. The BAC cannot be successful without your involvement. Alumni, students, and faculty/staff  need to know each other and hear from each other. It is in those relationships, where we build a bridge that connects past, present, and future Panthers towards greater endeavors. So ask yourself what you can do for the Finest Institution in the Universe!

Here’s some tips:

What YOU Can Do?

I look forward to a phenomenal year,
